After months of late nights, hard work and soft pillows – the Brendan Mills website is finally live! Built by a team of talented writers, artists and developers under the tutelage of one Kent-ish saxophonist – we’re all very excited to see the project come together and see the end product. Designed as a platform to market my services, promote my students’ success and give me an outlet for all of my musical products – is a place for all things rhythmic.

You can find out more about me on my Homepage, but I’ll give you a quick run through here. I am a saxophonist, teacher and producer. I have been playing the saxophone for as long as I can remember and doing all I can to become a better musician. I have a Honours degree in Jazz, a Music Production Diploma from the London AMP, an Honours Diploma from the London Guildhall and a Grade 8 Distinction from the Associated Board Royal School of Music. On the back of my love of the saxophone, it was natural for me to go into teaching and inspire others to take up the most romantic instrument available. As a tutor, I have more than 30 students across South East London and Kent, I’m fully registered with the ABRSM and I maintain a 100% pass track record throughout my teaching career.

2013 has been a very busy year for me, on all fronts. Whilst co-ordinating the new website and going about my teaching schedule and weekend gigs, I have also had commercial releases signed to Metalheadz and Fokuz Records through my drum and bass partnership Bipolar DnB. Further commercial success has come through collaboration with Jamie Johnson, Moni Tivoni, Max Alexander and Fil Straughan. I have established a House partnership with Chenai Zinyuku and achieved Residency at Westminster Park Plaza. I have played with Totem for the MacMillan Charity Ball at the Dorchester, in August I was lucky enough to play at Wilderness Festival and even headline Brixton Jamm with Didjitalis. I’m definitely ready for a Christmas break…

With the launch of this website, it heralds a new beginning for my services. I will be dedicating more hours to private tutoring, spending more time in the production studio and playing at more functions and events than ever before. To find out more about my individual services, check the relevant pages from the top navigation bar and to get in touch with me – you’ll be wanting the Contact page. Whether it’s for advice, a quote or a booking, I’m always open to a chat with music lovers whatever the topic.
